Thank you to all the poets who got their poetry etc. into Lummox 9! While there are less poets in this issue, their work is no less stellar than it has been in the past! I suspect that it’s because of the VIRUS that things are off.<\/span><\/p>\n

Remember the Lummox Motto:<\/span>\u00a0GAME NOT FAME (if you don’t have the chops, it doesn’t matter WHO you are)! So send your best work!<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

ABOUT THE ANGELA CONSOLO MANKIEWICZ POETRY CONTEST (ACM)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

For the next year of the<\/span> Angela C. Mankiewicz Poetry Prize<\/a>\u00a0there will be <\/span>only ONE PRIZE of $1,000<\/span> (thanks to a generous gift in Angela’s name by her late husband, Richard). The winner and honorable mentions (if any) will be announced via Email and\/or other Social Media.<\/span><\/p>\n

The LUMMOX<\/span> poetry anthology<\/a>\u00a0offered a unique view into the Small Press\/Underground Arts and Literary world. Its free ranging approach allowed the reader access to poetry, poetics and art, from beginners to “Pros”…and serves as a source of inspiration. The Small Press may be a medium sized pond, but it’s teeming with life! I tried to provide a “showcase” for as many of these talented folks as I could.<\/span><\/p>\n
