Todd Moore has been working on his epic poem The Name is Dillinger since 1974.   Several sections of the poem have been published over the years, including Dillinger Vol. 1 & 2 (1990; Primal Press) and The Corpse is Dreaming (2000; Lummox Press).

"Moore draws on history, legend, anecdote and imagination to fabricate a compelling story of John Dillinger...This is a strong, forceful poem uncovering a neglected figure...It deserves the widest audience possible."

-- Review of The Name is Dillinger in the Pikestaff Forum #4

"...Someday it may be said that Todd Moore was the greatest of the American poets since Sandburg.  Why wait? Read anything you can get by him, now." -- Kenneth Funsten, L.A. Times
