Project Raindog

Absence / Presence 8/7/03

Absence / Presence was a 12 hour installation at Walled City Gallery @ 309 W. 7th St in San Pedro, CA on Aug. 7, 2003.  The idea was to present the public with a mural depicting the effects of nuclear weapons: the blast, the testing and the subsequent contamination of our air, water, and earth over the last 58 years.

By installation, I mean that it only exists for the time (in this case two weeks) it is installed.  Then it is painted out.  Bye bye, adios, gone baby gone!
