Contributor's Guidelines
The Lummox Journal is looking for essays on the creative process; also reviews of books, readings, performances and CDs.
Also, biographical pieces & even interviews will be considered.
While the Lummox Journal publishes some poetry, it only publishes about 2% of those submitted. So if you have
some damned fine work, email it to us, otherwise...
Each August, I publish a special short-short fiction issue - suggested length is 1500 words
MAX (send in the email message
window - DO NOT send as an attachment).
A suggested length for articles/essays is 750 - 1000 words (send same as above). Also, send as TXT or DOC files.
Pictures send as JPGs.
Lummox reserves first-publication rights, otherwise rights revert to author after publication. Authors
can reprint their work elsewhere if
so desired - it's your work after all. Payment, is in the form of Contributor's
Copy.
