Lummox Journal's Art Director, YAZOOTA

The Yazoota

YAZOOTA'S BIO:

I'm over 50.

I'm an anarchist.

I live in a rock house in the foothills of the Angeles Nat'l Forest where I carry the only Y chromosome.

I used to be a musical director with a well known touring ethnic dance
company.

I've spent the last 25 years putting together magazines for a bunch of different corporate entities, some more vile than others.

 I don't watch much TV.

I like to plant things & watch them grow.

I've played in  bunch of bands.

I play silly musical instruments & write goofy songs.

I'm a cancer survivor.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been able to make a living playing music and putting pictures in magazines... not like a REAL job.

I like rock & roll, r&b, bebop, hip hop, fusion, world music--- Zappa and Miles in particular--- just about anything but Nash trash.

I do the LJ as a way of giving back some of the good things that have come my way.

I will go to the polls for the 1st time in over 35 years to vote for a regime change.
