Over the years I've played in a number of different bands: Blues, Post-Punk Modern, Pop, Experimental/Found Sound, Tom
Waits Tributary ("everybody row!").
Lately, I've been performing under as the
a loose conglomeration of musical friends which has included my former bandmate, Suzie Richmond
(Keyboard); Kevin Usler (guitar) & his brother Keith (drums and spoons): Ray Kula
(guitar and Mandolin) and, currently, Mike Stave
(fiddle), Steve K. (guitar) and Joel Easton (guitars). Mostly, it's a solo gig for
me, with these other folks sitting in. I play a bluesy
mix of Tom Waits, my own material, and
traditional blues & folk standards.
I play guitar, harmonica and I sing, tho I try not to sing anymore
than is absolutely necessary.
