you shda seen

 

his face

chico sd

twirling the

cap gun

around on

his finger

he just

kept

stuffing

the bills

into my

brown paper

sack like

it was

halloween

& he was

too scared

to look

at my face

i was

glancing a

round for

someone to

come in

but the

joint

stayed emp

ty before

i left

i grabbed

a bottle

of beam

chico put

the cap gun

to my fore

head &

went bang

waddya say

he sd

pointing

to the

whiskey

a little

taste of

the outlaw

a little

howl of

the blues

brakes when

i saw the

flames climbing

thru the

roof of

the car

at the

side of

the road

a guy stood

next to

it he had

an auto

matic in

one hand

& a bottle

of jim

beam in

the other

when he

saw me

slow down

he waved
